
Saint Dominic's Family Services proudly announces the appointment of Ann Marie Tromer as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With a distinguished career in finance, business operations, and nonprofit leadership, Tromer steps into the role with a deep commitment to advancing the agency’s mission of empowering individuals and families across the Hudson Valley and the Bronx.
Tromer brings extensive leadership experience to her new role. Prior to her appointment, she served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Saint Dominic’s, overseeing fiscal operations, technology, and educational programs such as the 853 School and Bronx Preschool. Her career also includes leadership positions in the Pearl River Union Free School District, where she managed the annual school budget and led capital projects, and the Clarkstown Central School District, where she played a key role in financial management and operational strategy. Additionally, at ARC of Rockland, she spearheaded efforts to modernize revenue reporting and Medicaid reimbursement processes, ensuring the financial stability of essential services.

Raab, who has been a dedicated member of the Board of Directors since 2013, assumed the role of Board President in February 2025. Her steadfast commitment to the agency has been instrumental in driving its mission forward.
For 147 years, Saint Dominic’s Family Services has been a cornerstone of support for children, adults, and families in need. The agency provides comprehensive programs, including foster care, mental health services, developmental disabilities support, and education. Saint Dominic’s serves approximately 2,000 individuals annually, offering compassionate and innovative services that enhance lives and strengthen communities.
Tromer holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Pace University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York. Her strategic vision, financial acumen, and passion for service make her a strong advocate for the individuals and families served by Saint Dominic’s Family Services.
